Airbus Corporate Helicopters has today handed over the first ACH160 Line in Lounge cabin configuration to launch customer Air Corporate of Italy at
EBACE. Building on the elegant and well-received Line interior, the Lounge variant is designed for customers seeking a blend of comfort together with high performance and excellent value retention.
 

The helicopter, which is on display at EBACE is the first of five ACH160s for Verona-based Air Corporate and was announced as part of the company’s order for 43 Airbus helicopters at last year’s show. Today Air Corporate has ordered a further two ACH145 helicopters with ACH Line cabin solution in addition to the previous order. Paolo Serini, CEO of Air Corporate said: “The Lounge configuration is perfect for our customer passengers and we greatly appreciate the opportunity that we had to contribute to Airbus’ design process. The result is a highly practical layout that uses the finest materials, has excellent sound-proofing and is a superb asset for our company.”
 

Head of Airbus Corporate Helicopters, Frederic Lemos, said: “The ACH160 Line in Lounge configuration is a compelling proposal for customers who strongly value performance and long-term economic effectiveness as well as the style and comfort for which the ACH160 is well known.” The Lounge configuration generates lower fuel burn thanks to a weight saving compared to the ACH160 Exclusive and has the potential for higher value retention due to its ease of repurposing for different missions.
 

The version being exhibited is configured for six passengers with two armchairs and a four person bench seat, but the helicopter is alternatively available for eight passengers on two bench seats. It benefits from the ACH160’s extremely generous windows, airy cabin and wealth of industry-leading technological features.
 

The full ACH helicopter range consists of the ACH125, ACH130, ACH135, ACH145, ACH160 and ACH175 variants of Airbus Helicopters’ comprehensive and market-leading family of light and medium models.
